For the past several years, Grassi & Co., CPAs has conducted a biannual survey of construction companies in the New York area. This year, we have partnered with McGraw-Hill's New York Construction to present The State of Your Business 2009.

Our purposes:

To provide a benchmark for the industry;

To better understand your business in a changing construction market to help us better serve you;
To inform you of emerging business trends that will assist you in making better business decisions.

The results are in for 2009, revealing trends in ownership transition, joint ventures, bidding for public sector work, bonding capacity, changes in geographical reach and the ability to obtain credit.
