Grassi Lenders Advisory Board: On Wednesday, July 9th, Grassi & Co. is presenting its Lenders Advisory Board. An exclusive event for New York area lenders, "Hot Topics in Real Estate: How to Be a Hero to Your Clients and Unlock Tax Saving Opportunities," will inform lenders about how Cost Segregation Studies and 1031 Like-Kind Exchanges can help their clients unlock tax saving opportunities. Surety and Lenders Advisory Boards: Held a couple of times throughout the year, these programs offer education and updates about changes in accounting rules and tax laws for our surety bonding and bank lending contacts.

Holiday Contact Party:  A long-standing tradition, Grassi & Co. hosts a lavish holiday party every November for friends of the firm.  Making the guest list for this highly touted event is a prized achievement.

"State of the New York Real Estate Market":  In conjunction with M&T Bank and Sheldon Good & Company, Grassi & Co. hosted a panel discussion on the state of the New York real estate market, emerging trends and future growth opportunities. Moderated by the head of real estate development for The New York Times, the seminar drew more than 100 attendees.

 "Going Green Can Save You Green":  Last year, the firm co-hosted a seminar with Hudson Valley Bank about real estate savings through cost-segregation studies and the popular NYSERDA low-interest loan program.

"Communicating for Success: How to wow your patients and grow your practice":  In March, the firm hosted a seminar created to assist medical practice managers improve their patient relations. The session was led by a friend of the firm, renowned trainer and sales consultant, Adrian Miller. It was a great success and Grassi Healthcare Consulting, the healthcare division of Grassi & Co. is planning additional future programs. "It Can Happen to You: Keys to Early Fraud Detection & Prevention": This seminar, presented by Grassi & Co. and JPMorgan Chase in April, discussed how to detect and prevent fraud before it becomes a problem. The event, presented by the Architecture & Engineering specialty groups, was a huge success.
