Beginning next week, Grassi & Co. Partner John Pellitteri will be a monthly guest on “The Profit Express,” a weekly radio show on 88.7 FM, WRHU, hosted by Tim Healy. The show airs weekly from 6:00-7:00 PM on Wednesdays. Pellitteri’s segment will air during Healy’s “Bottomline Benefit” segment on the fourth Wednesday of every month. Every month, Pellitteri will discuss a different contemporary financial issue. Next week, he will discuss some tax savings and planning tips. Future segments will feature topics such as: internal controls, staffing issues, compensation models, and technology utilization.
Tim Healy is the President of Healy Success Solutions, a consulting firm that helps companies with sales team training and sales performance coaching. He has been hosting “The Profit Express” for just over a year and a half, having just recently celebrated his 75th show. The show focuses on a variety of business issues, spanning sales, marketing, entrepreneurship, and more. Pellitteri will be joining a diverse stable of guests from across the spectrum of business.
John Pellitteri is a partner at Grassi & Co. and runs the firm’s healthcare services and accounting services divisions. Utilizing his two decades of experience in accounting, auditing, tax planning and business consulting, he is a frequent lecturer at healthcare industry forums such as local medical societies, office management societies, and hospital councils. He has authored numerous articles on fraud prevention, human resource issues, compliance and operations and was the main author for the Financial Success Advisor column in the previously published Nassau/Suffolk Hospital Council’s Health & Hospital News.
Pellitteri is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) where he served on the Federal Taxation Committee and the New York State & Local Taxation Committee. In addition, he served as Chairman of the Medical and Professionals Committee. Additionally, John is also active in philanthropic organizations and serves on the board of the Long Island Entrepreneurs Group, Inc. (LIEG) and the Health and Business Alliance (HBA) where he also serves as the treasurer. He is also a board member of the Medical Resource Group. He was also selected as one of 2005′s 40 Under 40 Rising Star professionals in the Long Island area by Long Island Business News. John is a graduate of Hofstra University with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting.
