Chris Fifis is the Director of Business Development for Grassi.  With Chris as a member on Grassi’s leadership team, the firm's clients and prospects can expect to gain insightful guidance to help align the many advisory resources available at Grassi. with their own goals and business objectives.  Chris works closely with the firm’s professionals to cultivate new business opportunities and further the growth of both Grassi's practice areas and the clients they serve. 
Prior to joining Grassi, Chris worked for an insurance broker where his role focused on mid-sized companies primarily in food processing, distribution and manufacturing—helping them improve their risk profile and establishing policies and procedures to mitigate their risk. Chris excelled and showed the biggest impact for his clients through working with them to reduce their workers comp premium.  Much of his success came from time spent learning about his client's operations, examining their strengths and weaknesses, and putting a plan in place to help reduce long-term premiums and promote long-term growth and success.

Additionally, In October 2018, Chris started the New Jersey HIG Food Collaborative council to provide key decision makers in the food industry a collaborative platform to help mitigate risk, improve operational efficiencies, increase profitability, and improve their strategic position.
