William E. Fischer is a Partner at Grassi & Co. He began his career in 1988 and has focused his efforts on providing in-depth business and management consulting in addition to auditing, accounting and tax planning. Bill works with a broad range of industries including construction, real estate development companies, manufacturing, professional service, and not-for-profit. Bill has represented clients with commercial and residential development projects.  His experience involves providing consulting services to both the developers and the construction contractors.
In addition, Bill works with both the private and public sector in high level capacities providing forensic accounting, litigation support and expert testimony. Bill is considered one of the foremost experts in the country for construction finance. 

Bill uses his comprehensive knowledge and innovative ideas to educate clients, sureties, banks and other professionals on a variety of subjects and has authored numerous articles on cash flow and budgeting, internal operating efficiencies, profit enhancement strategies and claims consulting.  In addition, Bill teaches a Construction Finance course at Columbia University.
