Crain’s New York Recognizes David Rottkamp among 2023 Notable Nonprofit Board Leaders
Grassi Partner and Nonprofit Practice Leader, David M. Rottkamp, was named among the 2023 Notable Nonprofit Board Leaders by Crain’s New York Business. The annual list recognizes individuals whose commitment to the public good inspires and elevates those in need and communal causes.
David’s volunteer board leadership positions include the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society, where he has served as a board member for 11 years. He has sat on the MS Society’s New York City/Long Island Chapter board for 17 years and is currently serving his second term as the chapter’s board chair. David also sits on the boards of the New York Council of Nonprofits and BoardStrong.
These volunteer roles are in addition to David’s commitment to guiding Grassi’s nonprofit clients to greater sustainability and less risk. With more than 35 years of experience providing advisory and audit services to the nonprofit industry, he leads Grassi’s Nonprofit Practice, a team dedicated to serving organizations across all sectors, including social service providers, religious organizations, educational institutions, membership associations, healthcare providers, foundations, and the arts and culture world.
