Grassi Adds New Consulting Principal to Lead Valuation Services
New York, N.Y. – May 31, 2022 – Steve N. Economou has joined Grassi as a principal in the firm’s Forensic, Litigation and Valuation Services group. In this leadership role, he will primarily oversee business valuations and provide transaction advisory services.
Economou has more than 35 years of diverse corporate finance experience including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, management buyouts, capital markets and business valuations. He has completed hundreds of transactions and advisory assignments, including advising on more than $2 billion of transactions, and completed more than 100 board and strategic advisory engagements. He has also rendered more than 200 valuation opinions.
Prior to joining Grassi, Economou served as managing director in the mergers and acquisitions advisory practice of a top 10 public accounting firm, a money center bank and a leading Philadelphia boutique investment banking and valuation advisory firm. He has advised on sales, divestitures, acquisitions, restructurings and financings in a wide range of industries.
Economou holds an MBA degree with a concentration in Finance from the University of Cincinnati and a BA degree in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh. He also holds FINRA Licenses Series 7, 63, 79, and 99.
