Fiona Cheng is a Senior Manager with Grassi and a member of the Nonprofit team. She brings over 15 years of accounting experience in auditing nonprofit organizations. Fiona’s areas of expertise lie in financial statement audits for regionally known hospitals, for-profit and nonprofit managed care organizations and fund raising/grant making nonprofits. She also has experience in Uniform Guidance audits and employee benefit plan audits.

As a leader in our nonprofit group, Fiona leads internal continuing professional education sessions specifically focused for our nonprofit practice. Additionally, Fiona is a subject matter expert within our Nonprofit practice where she assists organizations to achieve greater success and drive forward their mission, through her advisement.

Prior to joining Grassi, Fiona worked for a Big Four accounting firm, where she was a Senior Manager in the Audit/Accounting group. While there, she worked primarily in the healthcare group, conducting audit and accounting tasks. She also managed audits for a variety of nonprofit entities.

Fiona received her Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in Accounting, from Baruch College, Zicklin School of Business. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Fiona is fluent in Filipino.
